Two door cinema are a alternative indie rock group to get ideas of what we were filming and to keep our music video within the concepts to the genre i have researched music videos from bands of the same genre.
Razorlight are an indie rock band there video of america is mainly performance based , which we may use a bit of in our music video.
All American rejects are an alternative indie rock and in this video of move along , they use a very effective narrative based shot of the guy changing thorugh change of clothes and scene. We may use a similar idea in our music video.

Filming -Sunday 10th october
We actually managed to get a large chunk of the filming done this day . Such as the guy changing scene, the flower scene, car changing scene with friends, the walking scene, the cake scene , playground scenes ,webcam scenes and sunset scenes. We even managed to shoot some extra footage of lip syncing and dancing. We may have to shoot some extra or shots again when we start editing based on lighting and positioning , but it was a nice sunny day and the time of day for lighting was pretty good aswell as being able to keep the camera with the tripod. Here are a couple of shots we took while out filming .

To make the brand identity of my band different and stick out from other bands of a similar genre i have researched two similar artists and looked out their brand identities to see conventions and what i can change to stand out.

Target audience feedback

To get an idea of what we thought the feedback of our video would be like, we pitched the idea to our class and they gave us feedback towards what they thought. I created a wordle witha link to get the general impression of the feed back which was mostly positive.
As well as some constructive critiscms we got some ideas of things we could do differently, some of these were having the guys say the lyrics to the girl,using colourisation for certain shots, reversing the idea and using the girl to ask the guy.
Our positive feedback was based on our ideas and our use of shots , epecially the idea of lyrics matching the visuals throught the film and the star quality with the use of a clown and heart baloon. One person said that they thought we had used a wide range of shots and suggested that we could also use a worms eye view.
