Making the website

I did lots of initial research before making a music video into the concepts of a website and have decided to make a website rather than a magazine advert as it would suit our target audience more , its easier to adapt up to date and change , its a live and more accesible way of gaining information and thought it would add kmore depth and breadth to the brand identity .To make our website we started using a website called bandzoogle.com , however to make our website live using this website we would have to pay membership fees, so we tried the trial to get some ideas of templates and a flat plan and here our the urls of two ideas for web-design.
Here is our first attempt t-shirt website
We liked this idea but it did not fit with the same style as our album cover and proved difficult on our new web-page designed with serif. So we started a new idea to fit with our album cover which was the idea of two doors and being outsife using our star image motif, of a red heart baloon.
Here is a print screen of our home page created on serif.

To create this we set a background by setting a theme and editing it to upload an image , we then added the text on top in our designed typography. I then inserted the picture logo for our font two door cinema club then edited it to white. We then hyperlinked the header bar and all the words we wanted highlighted. We tried adding an embed code of our video into the website but this does not show when the website is live .
We then added crucial social networking buttons like these and hyperlinked them

We then had to make the website live this . Our original plan was to publish live through the Serif Page Plus, but this was difficult as you had to have domain account and password. We then found a host site, http://www.angelcities.com where we didn’t have to but a domain and could use for free in exchange for ads in the top left of the screen. However we still couldn’t publish live through the domain settings, so we exported the document in serif as a picture and uploaded it on angelcities.com and managed to get our site live.
